I was just reading online about the 24th weeks of gestation and how my twins are growing. Here are some of the details. The babies are growing fast, they most likely gained about 4 ounces since last week. That puts them at just over a pound each. They are also almost a foot long (picture an ear of corn). Their bodies are filling out proportionally and they'll soon start to plump up. Their brains are also growing quickly now, and their taste buds are continuing to develop. Their skin is still thin and translucent, but that will start to change soon.I'm really excited to be at this point in the pregnancy! We are far enough along that my babies can survive outside the womb and yet delivery still feels a good distance away (14 weeks)...plenty of time to get all the essential things taken care of around the house!

It is exciting isn't it?!?!?! They are some active little boogers! :) I will try and get a picture taken very soon and send it to you.
It's so nice to be past the half way mark and almost starting the 3rd trimester! Getting exciting, just 14 weeks, wow, time to start some serious shopping!!!
